The following fees are required:
A non-refundable service initiation fee of $25.00 for residential services and a $35.00 for commercial services is required per meter.
Customer is also responsible to establish credit with the district: Credit may be established by providing documentation of good payment history from your current or past electric provider, referred to as a PHL (Payment History Letter). To be considered, the PHL must indicate two (2) or fewer overdue notices during the prior twelve months of service, no returned checks and also no disconnects for non-payment. Deposits are refundable with interest, after two years (24 months) of good payment history with the District. PHL's can be faxed to 520-423-3051 and a follow up call to ensure that the PHL has been received is recommended. Note: If a PHL cannot be provided, all charges for deposits ($250.00) will initially be required up front before service can begin.
If the current electrical service is provided by Electrical District No. 3, a call to 520-424-9021 or 877-811-8700 is necessary to discontinue service at that location.
Customer will be sent a service agreement form, that will need to be signed and sent back to Electrical District No. 3. (Pink copy is for customer to keep.)
