WAPA Announces Parker-Davis Project (PDP) Resource Allocations

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) has announced the final resource pool allocations for the new Parker-Davis Project (PDP) contracts that begin on October 1, 2028. The resources allocations were published as a Final Decision in the Federal Register Notice on March 27, 2026. A target timeline for contract development and finalization process with contract parties will occur from spring 2026 to May 2028. ED3 will participate in the series of working meetings on the draft contract for the post-2028 contract. The new contract will cover the period of October 1, 2028 through September 30, 2048. Renewable energy certificate provisions will also be incorporated and be part of the updated agreements.

ED3’s post-2028 estimated capacity allocations are as follows subject to the conditions of the post-2028 contract provisions:
