The "bucket" is what we refer to as the actual balance on your account. Whether it has a credit or balance owing, when you pay more than your actual usage the excess goes to the "bucket". When your average is lower than your actual usage you will begin to either pull money from the "bucket" or start accumulating a balance owing.

Quarterly reviews are done in January, April, July and October. October is what we refer to as our "true up" month, this is where we complete a yearly audit on BPP accounts. Your new BPP true up amount will be based on your past usage and balance in the "bucket". This new amount will be on your October bill, to let you know your November's  new bill amount. Your calculated average is subject to fluctuate at this time based on usage and "bucket" amount. You are still responsible for the total energy used, which is notated on your monthly billing. This program is to help our customers budget their monthly bills.

Please be advised late payments are not permitted on the program, auto pay method is recommended to avoid removal from the program.
