Going green doesn't have to mean installing solar panels. Green Select gives your household a simple, cost-effective way to ensure all your energy comes from renewable sources — no equipment, no hassle. For houses already on solar, it fills the gap by making your utility-supplied energy renewable too. And by joining, you're not just meeting your sustainability goals — you're actively strengthening the community's renewable energy future.

Green Select works as a rate rider, adding half a cent ($0.005) per kilowatt-hour (kWh) to your current rate. ED3 handles all of the details, making it simple for you to have renewable energy certificates (RECs) assigned to your account and support clean energy. One REC represents 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable energy generated and delivered to the grid, giving you the claim to that carbon-free power. Please note that annual participation is limited based on the availability of RECs in ED3's portfolio.

I only want a portion of energy for my business to come from green energy. Is that possible?
